Harajuku Hunnies Review #2 (Pic Heavy)

Hey there my Chicas! I finally finished editing my pics for this review!  The beautiful Trinity owner of Harajuku Hunnies liked my first HH Review and asked me if I would review some more items from her HH line....and OMGAAD I was so happy!  It was such an honor for her to ask me to review more from her line.

This is what I received from Trinity:

She sent me a Sex Pot in Aquatic, Brow Quad in Brunette, Pick-Up Lines Gel Liner in Oceanic, Knocked Up Menage-a-5 Palette and a wonderful Thank You  note!

Let's start with the Sex Pot:

I love the color.  It's like a light teal blue/green color.  It also has a huge shimmer to it.  I'm a "shimmer" person cuz I feel like since I have an oily face you can see my oily eyelids more...sounds weird but yeah. LOL.  I have used the other colors from my last review and I had no issues with creasing or fading from these pots.  I give it two thumbs up!

Next in line is the Brow Quad:

The quad comes a brush, two colors - darkish brown and medium brow (bottom two on quad), highlighter and a wax (upper two on quad) to tame your eyebrows.  I didn't try the wax cuz I use hairspray or gel to tame my eyebrows!

This is the first time I have used a powder for my eyebrows.  I've become so comfortable with a pencil that I haven't wanted to try anything else.  To be honest I truly liked it!  Let me tell you why.  1.)  It looked more natural then my pencil (I use Maybelline's Expert Eyes Brow & Eye Pencil in Dark Brown), no harsh crazy lines.  2.)  Easier to fill in.  and 3.)  Since I have very oily skin, it doesn't disappear!  This is the best.  Usually with my pencil by the end of the day the pencil starts to disappear.  Now I just need to practice to use it.  One thing I would recommend is that you use a different brush.  Since it's so short I felt it was hard for me to control it when applying it.

Next up - Pick-Up Lines Gel Liner in Oceanic:

This color is soooo beautiful!  Blue does happen to be one of my fav colors and I really liked this gel liner.  I have only tried AVON's gel liner and WnW gel liner.  AVON's dried out too quickly and WnW is toooooo creamy.  Like it didn't dry so I just stopped using gel liner all together.  This one however, dried quick.  It has a creamy texture but not too creamy and it glides on beautifully!  Once it dried on my hand, I tried to smear it and this bad boy DOESN'T smear at all!

Last but not least - Knocked Up Palette:

I love the blues for this palette.  You have 3 blues that are not too dark and not too light either.  The first two colors are white and a white with a hint of blue in it.  These colors are matte but what I noticed this morning when I used them is that they have just the right amount of shimmer to them.  I really really like this palette.

I tried to capture the blue so you can see it.  It's really beautiful.  I used the 2nd white/blue color for my inner 1/3 of my eye and used the 2nd to the last blue for the rest of my eye and blended it up.  I used the 1st white as my highlight.  I added a bit of the darkest blue in my outer crease.

With flash - this pic really shows how vibrant and pretty the blues are on this palette.

Without flash
I put on the e/s at about 6:30am and it is now 12:30pm and no creasing or fading (I did use UDPP).

This concludes my review.  I really fell in love with this product line and would recommend it to anyone.  So far I have not been disappointed with any of HH products.  Check out HH's website for more items from there line - Harajuku Hunnies Website and don't forget to follow Trinity on her Blog!

I hope you liked!  Have an awesome day =)

Please Note:  Anything that was said on this review was true and my personal opinion.

i never thought of using hairspray or gel to tame my crazy brows ... i tend to use the wax in my little brow palette from Benefit ... but i will definitely try hairspray or gel! thanks for the tip :-)

@Wendy - Thx Babe!!! ((((HUGS)))

@Eva - Yup the wax doesnt keep them in place. I spray the hairspray on my eyebrow brush and then brush it in. For the gel i put some on my finger and then spread it like toothpaste on my brow brush and brush it on...then let it dry! =)

Thx ladies for taking the time to read and comment on my blog =)
